Jason was born and raised in Arkansas and came to Christ around the age of 6. He was baptized and became a member of First Baptist Church, Magnolia, AR. He surrendered to the Gospel ministry in 1998 and was ordained at the same church in 2001 when he became the pastor of Beech Street Baptist Church, Crossett, AR.
Jason has pastored four churches in Arkansas and one in Mississippi over his 20 years of pastoral ministry.
Jason's wife, Jessica Goodwin, is the daughter of Dr. Martin and Mrs. Jennifer Jameson. They met at Central Baptist College in the Autumn of 2000 and married in July 2002. God has blessed them with seven (7) children; Kennedy, Cooper, Delaney, Wyatt, Avery, Knox, and Hattie. Jessica homeschools their children and they are blessed to be members of the Laurel Christian Homeshcool Educators.
