This seems to be a very familiar sign we are seeing in America today. There are many businesses that are hurting for lack of employees. We have some needs at Canaan Land that are very dear to the heart of this pastor, for which I greatly desire the help of the churches of the BMA of Mississippi. First of all, the faithfulness of our churches has not gone unnoticed nor are they unappreciated. I do thank the Lord for you all, but the reality of it is; we need more.
The apostle Paul states in his letter to Timothy in 2 Tim 2:2 "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also." This is a need that we have. We have still been seeing a number of visitors at Canaan Land and we truly are thankful for this. However, we have had a lack of faithfulness as many of our churches are experiencing, but we have yet to find faithful men to invest in and help us bear the burden of reaching the lost in our communities of Buckatunna and Waynesboro. This is an extreme need in my opinion. It is the desire of my heart to have a "Timothy" to come and labor beside us, someone with passion, someone to invest in, who has the burning desire to reach the lost, and advance the Gospel of Christ.
So, what can we do about it? Pray! This matter has been at the forefront of my prayers. I am asking the churches, pastors, people, and prayer warriors among the BMA of Mississippi to fervently pray for the Lord to send us a "Timothy". We are thankful for all of you who pray for us and this mission work faithfully. Please add this request to your prayer list, as well.
