As a Missionary Pastor and as a Mission, we look forward to this time of year. Like others, we begin making plans months ahead of time. Our plans for Mardi Gras are different than most who go to the parades. We see this as an opportunity to share the Gospel and meet our neighbors.
So, we make up hundreds of bags to give out before the parade starts. Each bag contains a couple of plastic cups, wrist bands, pen, rack card with all our information on it and a Gospel tract. All of these items have the name of the mission on them.
