Fellowship was foundational to the early church in Acts 2. Scripture says that they "met together daily and in bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart." It was fellowship like this that the Holy Spirit used to bind the early church together in unity.
The Lord is working this precious process in Living Hope! We meet together weekly for dinner after church. And on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, we meet for our first Thanksgiving dinner in our new building. The atmosphere was electric, and the worship and praise was precious. But the moment that will stay with me was the laughter and family togetherness that was seen during our time of fellowship; this new mission acting like the early church was amazing!
The Lord is building his church, and I am awe struck at seeing Him accomplish it in a similar blueprint as the early church! To God be the glory!
