After a recent Bible study, a prisoner in a juvenile detention center asked me for counsel and prayer. He is facing a difficult situation when he is released to go home.
This teen relies on his older brother to give him a ride to school each day as the older brother drives to work. They had been caught with marijuana because the older brother regularly smokes marijuana on his way to work. Because this teen does not want to get into trouble again, I suggested he stay away from his older brother but was told that riding with his brother was his only way to school.
We prayed for God to provide the teen a way out of this situation, which may seem impossible. However, as Jesus said: "With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26)
