Brother Byron Morales is from Guatemala. He has a wife, Claudia, and two sons: Samuel and Caleb. Most of his life Bro. Morales studied in a Christian school even though his mother was not a Christian. Since the age of 7 he began to hear amazing stories from the Bible. Although at that time he never made a decision to accept Christ as his Savior, he began to admire missionaries and pastors. At a camp at the school he was attending he gave his life to Christ. He began to serve in an evangelical church and became a Sunday school teacher, a youth leader, and then a preacher. His passion for Christ began to grow more and more each day and although there have been obstacles in his life; he knows that with Christ he is more than a conqueror.
Brother Morales came to Mississippi about 10 years ago and the first place he visited was a small Baptist church where he met Pastor Elvis Garcia. He was baptized there and began to serve in various areas.
He now serves in a pastoral position of Way, Truth & Life at Ripley, and has the privilege of serving in the administration of the church, as well. Brother Morales attended college where he studied Business and Administration and he has also attended
the Bible Institute in Ripley.
God has prepared Bro. Morales for His work and ministry. He considers it a privilege to serve and be part of what God is doing. His desire is to train and produce more people for leadership and motivate others. Currently they have trained around 20 men and women in the Bible Institute and in their small group ministry which he leads.
His wife, Claudia is the director of the children’s ministry. They are developing more plans to serve the children. He would like to see more men involved in what the mission is doing and help take the gospel to all nations.
